Profile
Lasting History
Amrozz International has maintained a long legacy of
trading, engineering, construction and multi-modal
transportation services since 1963. When our organization
was at its embryo stage, the formation of private companies
was not allowed since the country had exercised the
socialist economy till 1988. In accordance with socialist
economic practices, our founding fathers established a
cooperative syndicate which specialized in service and
trading sectors. Our Toe Tat Yay Loot Thar or Progressive
Laborer Co-op Syndicate was very active and successful in
paddy cultivation, rice milling, saw milling, livestock
farming, and edible oil refining facilities. Our Syndicate
built numerous irrigation canals, small bridges,
mini-libraries, and water pumping systems which provided
water supply to more than 20 villages in Bago Division as
well as built more than 150 low-cost houses for the rural
community throughout Pyay District, Padaung Township, Htone
Bo Township, and Nat Moat in Bago Division.
Inauguration as a PLC
Committed to excellence across a range of international
business activities, Amrozz International was incorporated
as a registered private limited company in 1996, upon the
approval of Ministry of National Planning and Economic
Development. The name AMROZZ is made up of the key
meaningful letters of the names of the six company founders,
paying sincere tribute to U Aung Myat, U Myint Lwin, U
Rozzali, U Ohn Myint, U Zay Yar and U Zin Min Aung. Since the inception, Amrozz International has
developed progressively until it now ranks Myanmar's leading
exporter of Agricultural and Marine products.
In response to government call to promote export and to
seek overseas technology and investment, Amrozz
International has contributed a total value of USD 1.86
million exports up to the end of 2004-2005 fiscal year.
Concerning import, Amrozz International strictly follows the
government policy of promoting locally-available infant
industries by importing only essential goods such as
machineries, equipment and various raw materials. In this
connection, Amrozz International has been dealing with
various governmental departments and enterprises to supply
their demand.
Striding into the new century, Amrozz International is
confronted with new opportunities and challenges. Full of
pride, confidence and enthusiasm, all the staff of Amrozz
